The Carnival Is Over

” Outside the storm clouds are gathering
Moved silently along the dusty boulevard
Where flowers are turning crane their fragile necks
So they can in turn reach up and kiss the sky
They’re driven by a strange desire
Unseen by the human eye
Someone’s calling
I remember when you held my hand
In the park we would play
When the circus came to town
Look over here
Outside the circus is gathering
Moved silently along the rain-swept boulevard
The procession moved on, the shouting is over
The fabulous freaks are leaving town
They’re driven by a strange desire
Unseen by the human eye
Someone’s calling
The carnival is over
We sat and watched
As the moon rose
For the very first time ”

Fink – Looking Too Closely

“This is a song about somebody else
So don’t worry yourself, worry yourself
The devil’s right there, right there in the details
And you don’t wanna hurt yourself, hurt yourself
By looking too closely
By looking too closely
No no no no…
Put your arms around somebody else
And don’t punish yourself, punish yourself
The truth is like blood underneath your fingernails
You don’t wanna hurt yourself, hurt yourself
By looking too closely
By looking too closely
And I could be wrong about anybody else
So don’t kid yourself, kid yourself
It’s you right there, right there in the mirror
You don’t wanna hurt yourself, hurt yourself
By looking too closely
Mmmmmmmm
By looking too close
Mmmmmmm ”

Visarute Angkatavanich Betta fish

Betta Fish imitate elegantly posed Dancers in new Portraits by Visarute Angkatavanich

” Thai photographer Visarute Angkatavanich creates richly hued portraits that appear more like staged dance images than animal photography.
It is only when staring directly at the bug-eyed expressions of his subjects that one understands they are staring at a fish & not a costumed ballerina. Angkatavanich photographs domesticated Betta fish against white & black backgrounds to isolate their natural shades & present the illusion that they are moving through space. ”

10 Mysterious & Historical places to visit in Bulgaria
0 (0)

” Few countries can boast of such a rich & ancient history as Bulgaria. If you are looking for new interesting tourist locations for your next trip, Bulgaria is only one plane ticket away.
We need to bring awareness to the smaller but not less important countries & locations packed with countless life-changing sites & monuments like Bulgaria or most of the neighboring Balkan countries.
Maybe because here are some of the most ancient temples and cities in the world, or because Bulgaria is the oldest country in Europe, which has never changed its name.
Or did you come across information about the ancient peoples of these lands while reading about the Thracians, Greeks & Romans ?
Or maybe you have heard that Bulgaria was once an empire of similar might to the Roman & Frankish Empires ? ”
